Floral Design: Principles of Design | Examine the design elements and principles that govern creation of good floral compositions. Demonstrate the ability to analyze floral compositions by describing the design elements utilized and the extent to which the compositions met the design principles. $175+ includes $30 fee. Prerequisites: FLR-343 Foundations of Floral Design 1, AACC Floriculture Certificate, CFD® designate from AIFD or instructor permission. Note: Suitable for continuing education credit for AIFD®. Students must bring tools (floral knife, pruning shears and wire cutters) flowers, containers and accessories to create one mass and one linear composition to class. Note: If you cannot attend, a course drop form must be completed, submitted and received by the college no later than seven calendar days prior to the course start date in order for a refund to be issued. Completed course drop forms can be submitted by fax (410-777-4325), mail, online through the noncredit registration site or in-person at one of our registration sites.
